We seek to maximize investment returns consistent with preservation of capital while paying close attention to after-tax yield. After assessing each client's income needs and risk tolerance, a customized fixed-income portfolio is assembled with core positions in either government, municipal, or corporate bonds. To enhance portfolio returns, we use satellite positions in specific asset classes such as preferred stock, high yield bonds, inflation-protected securities (TIPS), and global income.
